September, Raise the Bar
Dear Leader,
Happy New Month, and I trust my letter meets you in pursuit of growth.
One of the things that separates truly successful leaders from others who merely occupy leadership positions or hold a job title is RESULT.
The difference is in the result.
Successful leaders always make things happen. They get results. The results that make a significant impact on the organisation they work for.
Your ability to produce results not only makes you attractive as an individual but also creates momentum in the team and amongst your team mates, inspiring an atmosphere for success.
You cannot fake results. You are either producing for the organisation and adding to its bottom line or you are not.
If you desire to scale your career and your leadership, you simply have to produce results. There is no way around it. You are either producing results or excuses. You cannot do both and be a leader.
And this phrase stayed with me: “You are only as good as your last number”.
So, this September, raise the bar! Know how results are measured in your organisation and find a way to measure your personal contribution and the contribution of your team.
Raise the bar! Raise it. Let’s go!
I’m rooting for you,
Great Owete
